A lightscribe cover label for the DVD or movie Legion.
I was pretty interested in checking this movie out until I saw a preview with an old lady or some sort of creature that looked like an old lady started to walk up the walls, then it just looked stupid. Of what I understand it wasn’t well received.

I won’t even pretend I know what this movie is about besides a ninja who assassinates people.

Wow, a pretty solid movie if I do say so myself. I the only thing I can complain about is Jamie Foxx, and how he ends up being the protagonist. The way the movie was put together you can sympathize with Butler’s character more, and even root for him. But for some reason they end with the note that Butler’s character was a villain, and Foxx’s character was the hero. Bull Crap I say!

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Public Enemies.
I guess this movie is based on the true story of the 1930s gangsters. It sounded like a perfect movie with 2 of the greatest actors of our time, but instead of making a great movie, they thought it would be great and slacked off. The result is Public Enemies.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Transformers 2, Revenge of the Fallen.
The second ‘live action’ transformer movie. There was quite a bit of hype leading up to this movie, and a lot of people felt let down with the outcome. I for one really enjoyed this movie. I don’t see what everyones problem was. Sure it had a lot of scenes dealing with pointless human crap, but there was enough action and badassness to keep me entertained the whole duration of this popcorn flick. I also thought the story was though out enough, where it made some of the first movie make more sense. I an eagerly awaiting the third entry.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Terminator Salvation.
Fanboys finally get something they have been waiting for for 20 years, a Terminator movie that takes place in the future and during the war against the machines. But, I have heard that they simply didn’t do good enough with this film. I still have yet to see this, and I really wanted to, but enough people talked me out of going to the theater to see it.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie National Treasure 2, Book of Secrets.
I liked the first one, quite a bit actually. The second one stepped it up, but also disappointed. I really enjoyed the puzzle part of trying to decipher clues as the hunt they went on, but I really disliked the plot point about Nick Cages great grandfather supposedly in a conspiracy to kill Lincoln. I found Nick Cages character pretty annoying all around.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Inglourious Basterds.
Wow, even though the previews made this movie look like it was something else, this ended up being one fun movie. This is by far my favorite Tarantino film (sorry Pulp Fiction, you make be feel disturbed while watching, and Kill Bill, it just a little to over the top to be taken seriously, even if that was the intention). While this movie was a good dramaction war movie, it really won me over with its use of humor.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie GI Joe The Rise Of Cobra.
With the success of Transformers it didn’t take long for another action figure toy line and beloved cartoon series to get turned into a live action movie. The problem with this movie, was that they didn’t quite know which direction to take it. The end results was a mix of fantastic special effects, cartoony visuals, horrible acting, but all around decent action flick. They did the action right, but the story and drama left a lot to be desired. I said this once and I will say it again, a movie based on action figures does not need a major plot point of a love story mixed in with it.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Star Trek.
J.J. Abrams brings one of the most famous franchises in history to one incredible movie. Even people who disliked Star Trek the series and movies loved this movie.

Everyone’s favorite boy wizard is back in another zany adventures with the aid of his friends and teachers. I have yet to see this one, even though I like the franchise. I guess I didn’t even know that it came out, hah.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Crank 2 High Voltage
The tagline is ‘He was dead, he got better’, which makes me think of Frankenstein, or zombies, or frankenzombies. I actually caught part of this, and it seemed pretty funny, but I don’t think it was meant to be a comedy.

This one one of Jason Stathoms more popular franchises. I think the premise is that a villain is trying to kill him, but decied to d something to his heart where if his heart beat goes down below a certain amount, it will explode? Sounds a lot like Speed to me (even with a similar title!).

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret Of The Ooze.
Not as good at the incredibly awesome first one, but still a lot better than the crap fest that was number 3. I love the turtles, I still want to be a ninja turtle, and this movie keeps me thinking “Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go… Go".

Two lightscribe cover labels for the DVD movie X Men Legends Wolverine
This movie had a bad wrap, which made me weary to see it. When I finally did I was suprised on how decent it was. I use the term decent because it is by no means a great movie, but it was on par with the other X Men movies, and even better than some other super hero movies. The only thing that pisses me off, is how they used the mutants and heroes from the marvel universe. To me it was neat seeing Gambit (finally), but I don’t like how old that would have made him during the X Men movies.

This is still one of my all time favorite movies, and by far the best turtle movie. The only thing that I dislike now, is the 80s inspired fashion, too bad there wasn’t a way to update certain parts of this movie, but still leave it in tact.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Dragon Ball Evolution
This is another failed attempt at brining a beloved cartoon show to the big screen. Honestly I am not a big fan of the cartoon, but this movie stunk. That being said, they should be able to make a sequel and fix all the problems the first one had.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
This is the latest Street Fighter movie that revolves around Lana Lang Chun-Li. It is nice to see Ms Kreuk stepping out of her role on Smallville and doing some kickassery, too bad the movie just wasn’t good.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Fast and Furious.
This is the 4th movie in the ‘fast…furious’ franchise. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, maybe even more than the others. This movie was good in a way, that there had to been a crappy sequel and spin off between the original, and this. This movie would not have been the same if was released as number 2.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Eragon.
This movie really was not good. I am not sure what they were thinking when they made this. Even though I agree this is borderline horrible, I sort of want a sequel. If they fix what went wrong here, it could be a neat franchise. Plus, I think the main character has a toddler head, he looks like he is 2!

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Doom.
Another video game turned movie, and surprise, it wasn’t that good. Actually, for a movie that requires it to be taken on another planet, space marines, and killer creatures, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. When I went in with low expecatations, I actually enjoyed the movie.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Doomsday.
I really don’t know much about this, what I got from the previews is that it is in a post-apocalyptic future Thunderdome style. Oh, and people like to fight and the punk rock cutler rules.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Ultraviolet
This movie had a decent concept, and some kick-ass visuals, but it also had a horrible dialog and bad acting. If you turn the volume down, you will probably enjoy it much much better.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
This is the third Harry Potter book turned movie. I enjoyed this one a lot on my first viewing, but this one does not have as much repeatability for me. The main I disliked about it, was the time travel aspect. If you can time travel at will, you can always win, which I find annoying! Plus, ‘I saw my Dad!’… I found that whole scene annoying.
