A lightscribe cover label for the DVD or movie Where The Wild Things Are.
This movie is quite interesting. While based on the children’s book, it really wasn’t meant for children. I feel like this movie was meant more for adults who had read the book as a child. The visual in this movie impressed me, mainly how lifelike the wild things were.

Another great film by Pixar. This one had a few more serious tones that some of the earlier movies though, and all together it was less funny and less fun, but overall it still was a high quality movie.

I saw some previews which made it look interesting, but I heard it was bad. Probably still better than the twilight movies though.

I was pretty interested in checking this movie out until I saw a preview with an old lady or some sort of creature that looked like an old lady started to walk up the walls, then it just looked stupid. Of what I understand it wasn’t well received.

Every girls favorite vampires are back, but this time the lychons, I mean werewolves, are also involved in this plot that will make most girls moist themselves. Also, there will be sparkling.

James Cameron finally gets around to another movie, a little known movie called Avatar. Have you heard of it? I think this movie raked in more money than any other movie in history. I can’t blame people for watching it though, it is a breakthrough in cinematography is paving the way for what a movies will become.

Wow, what a disappointment. This movie proves that Will Ferrell is as overrated as I have been saying for years. I mean I like the dude, but not as the leading man. All of his movies in the last 5 years are the same, he just has a different career. Please make a Spartan Cheerleader movie!

Sam Raimi returns to his horror roots with this humorous look on the whole ‘cursed’ genre. It was actually a decent film, especially compared to Spider Man 3. To be completely honest I was disturbed by the whole chewing on the lead actresses chin scene, but not for it being scary; yuck nasty!

I still have yet to see this movie, as I have been told the previews make it look like a different movie than it really is, and what the previews show I want to see. I also heard that it ended up being a children’s movie? Any confirmation on that? Should I give this one a shot?

I liked the first one, quite a bit actually. The second one stepped it up, but also disappointed. I really enjoyed the puzzle part of trying to decipher clues as the hunt they went on, but I really disliked the plot point about Nick Cages great grandfather supposedly in a conspiracy to kill Lincoln. I found Nick Cages character pretty annoying all around.

Everyone’s favorite boy wizard is back in another zany adventures with the aid of his friends and teachers. I have yet to see this one, even though I like the franchise. I guess I didn’t even know that it came out, hah.

I’m not sure what to make if this movie. It sure looks interesting enough, but at the same time it doesn’t quite appeal to me.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (or Philosopher’s Stone)
The movie that started the decade long stretch of fantasy movies. I used to think Harry Potter was completely stupid, and only for small children, but my older sister made me watch this movie on VHS and I became hooked.

One of the most interested Potter movies in my mind. Plus, the dude who plays Edward in Twilight dies in this, score! Honestly, I remember liking it but I don’t remember too much except a maze.

This is another failed attempt at brining a beloved cartoon show to the big screen. Honestly I am not a big fan of the cartoon, but this movie stunk. That being said, they should be able to make a sequel and fix all the problems the first one had.

I didn’t even hear about this one until I was flipping through On Demand. It sounds like another generic fantasy children’s book turned live action movie, but with the twist that the main character can make the fantastic things happen, instead of residing in the fantastic world.

I can’t remember that much from this movie, although this was the first Potter movie I watched in the theater.

This movie really was not good. I am not sure what they were thinking when they made this. Even though I agree this is borderline horrible, I sort of want a sequel. If they fix what went wrong here, it could be a neat franchise. Plus, I think the main character has a toddler head, he looks like he is 2!

This is the third Harry Potter book turned movie. I enjoyed this one a lot on my first viewing, but this one does not have as much repeatability for me. The main I disliked about it, was the time travel aspect. If you can time travel at will, you can always win, which I find annoying! Plus, ‘I saw my Dad!’… I found that whole scene annoying.

A lightscribe cover label for the DVD movie Elektra
This is the sort of spin off from the Daredevil Movie. By sort of, I mean Elektra has her own comics, but her character appeared in the Daredevil movie, where she Died. That alone made me not interested in this movie at first, how can I take movies seriously if the dramatic conclusions can be undone. I eventually watched, and it reveals a bunch of back story about Elektra, which was sort of neat, but gets her intertwined in a silly plot. This movie was alright, but nothing special.
